Avokata in ChatGPT.
Lithuanian law and court practice in your ChatGPT chat, with a pinpoint to the article or the ruling's paragraph in every answer.
§ 01What Avokata does
A lawyer's research, with the source.
Avokata is a set of tools your assistant uses: it searches in Lithuanian, the language the sources are written in, and you ask in your own words.
- Finds the statutory provision that governs a question and reads it by article, part and point (e-TAR).
- Finds court practice from every instance and reads a ruling by its numbered paragraphs (LITEKO).
- Follows citations both ways: what a ruling relies on, and who later cites a provision or a case.
- Checks whether an act is in force on a date and compares a provision's versions.
- Checks a citation and a quoted sentence against the source text.
Court rulings are served exactly as the courts published them, with their anonymisation; there is no search by person. Avokata is a research tool, not legal advice.
